Overview
The Korea Maritime Mobility · Safety Expo 2026 offer hands-on activities and programs designed to help visitors learn about the importance of maritime safety in a fun and accessible way. Held around Busan Port’s Bukhang Waterfront Park, the programs include an AI-powered maritime photo zone, life jacket decorating and runway experiences, CPR training, and opportunities to try on a Korea Coast Guard uniform.
Visitors can also experience ship operation through a simulation, explore various maritime emergency situations in a VR experience zone, and learn how to properly use lifesaving equipment such as life jackets and liferafts. A stamp tour connecting the BPEX exhibition hall with North Port Waterfront Park will also be available, allowing visitors to explore future ships, autonomous navigation, eco-friendly maritime technologies, and maritime safety and AI technologies while enjoying hands-on activities.

Getting there from Seoul
Take the KTX from Seoul Station to Busan Station, which sits in the same Dong-gu district as the venue, so the trip from Seoul takes just over the usual KTX travel time to Busan. From Busan Station, it's a short taxi or local bus ride to BPEX and the Bukhang Waterfront Park area; an express bus from Seoul's intercity terminals to Busan is a slower but cheaper alternative.

Busan International Rock Festival

First held in 2000, the Busan International Rock Festival is Korea’s first and longest-running international rock festival. In 2026, the 27th edition will take place over three days, from Friday, October 2 to Sunday, October 4, at Samnak Eco Park, featuring a diverse lineup of Korean and international artists. Stages set throughout the park will showcase everything from emerging talent to world-renowned headliners. Beyond the performances, visitors can also enjoy a variety of festival attractions, including interactive games, food court lounges, camping zones, and other special side events.
