Getting there from Seoul

The 2026 Busan Global Webtoon Festival is a webtoon-focused festival where webtoon artists, related companies, universities, and citizens all take part together. Marking its 10th edition this year, the event will be held from October 30 to November 1, 2026, in and around the Busan Culture & Contents Complex. The opening ceremony will be attended by webtoon industry figures and participating artists, with a celebratory performance by an invited singer. During the festival, a variety of participatory programs will run, including webtoon exhibitions, stage programs bringing artists and citizens together, and a family comic-drawing contest. University booths featuring webtoon-related universities and exhibition/experience booths run by webtoon companies and organizations will also operate, offering a chance to see webtoon creation and the related industry all in one place. Busan Illustration Fair is a leading exhibition in the illustration field held mainly for the Busan and Gyeongsang region market, hosted by O'Memakers, the organizer of Seoul Illustration Fair, and is scheduled to be held next fall at BEXCO exhibition hall in Busan.
