簡介
韓國最具代表性的購物觀光慶典「韓國購物優惠季(KOREA GRAND SALE)」，是以外國遊客為對象， 融合觀光、購物、韓流的綜合慶典。在此期間，提供航空、住宿、美容、娛樂、餐飲、體驗等各領域的多種優惠活動。
特別是今年更以「美食」為主題，推出多元的優惠活動與體驗行程，讓旅客親自感受韓國豐富多彩的飲食文化。透過品味韓國多樣風味與特色飲食文化的特別體驗，探索韓國旅遊嶄新的魅力。

Offering opportunities to enjoy culture in everyday life, this program runs at Seoul Plaza for about 8 months, from May to December. Starting with an opening performance on May 6, 2026, a variety of genres — from popular music to hip-hop, jazz, band performances, and other acts — will be presented monthly.

Seoul Royal Palace Gate Guard Changing Ceremony

The 'Seoul Royal Palace Gate Guard Changing Ceremony' is a representative traditional culture reenactment event hosted by the Seoul Metropolitan Government, vividly recreating the shift-changing scene of the Sumungun, the guards who protected the palace gates during the Joseon Dynasty. The Sumunjang (gate guard commander) was an official post of the sixth junior rank (Jong6-pum), who, together with the Chamha officials and Sumungun soldiers under the Sumunjangcheong (Gate Guard Office), guarded the palace gates, controlled entry and exit, and carried out patrols. The changing ceremony was composed based on actual historical records and is centered on Deoksugung Palace in the late Joseon period. The event is held six days a week, excluding Mondays, at 11:00 AM and 2:00 PM in front of Daehanmun Gate at Deoksugung Palace. To add interest for the general public and foreign tourists, various hands-on programs are also operated: the 'Opening Drum Beating Experience' lets participants directly beat the drum to signal the start of the ceremony, 'Becoming a Sumunjang' lets participants wear the gate guard commander's costume and experience the role, and the 'Traditional Costume Experience' is a popular program where visitors can wear Joseon-era attire and have photos taken.

Namsan Beacon Mound Ceremony and Other Traditional Culture Events

The Namsan Beacon Mound Ceremony and other traditional culture events recreate the communication methods of the Joseon dynasty, introducing citizens and domestic and international tourists to Korea's unique traditional culture and offering opportunities to experience it. This program is hosted by the Seoul Metropolitan Government. The Namsan Beacon Mound (bongsudae) was an important communication method during the Joseon dynasty, where beacon fires relayed from beacon mounds across the country were finally gathered to inform the capital of the situation. At the Namsan Beacon Mound, visitors can watch the Namsan Beacon Mound Ceremony while listening to historical narration and guidance. In addition, the Bosingak Citizens' Permanent Bell-Ringing event, held daily at noon, is a participatory event joined by citizens and tourists together. At the octagonal pavilion square of Seoul's Namsan Tower, visitors can watch samulnori (traditional percussion) performances and traditional martial arts demonstrations. There are also hands-on programs such as the daily night-watch (gyeongjeomgwan) experience and the daily beacon-keeper (bongsukkun) experience.
