Run Busan Lucky Draw Run
Oct 18, 2026 · Busan

Overview
'Run Busan' is Busan's representative running brand operated by Busan Metropolitan City, offering a variety of running content so that anyone can easily and enjoyably experience running in daily life. The 'Run Busan Lucky Draw Run' is a cross-generational running event that people of all ages can join and enjoy together, held at Oncheoncheon Citizens' Park, where participants can take in nature in the heart of the city.
On a 5km round-trip course along Oncheoncheon Stream, participants draw a capsule at every 1km section to carry out various missions, experiencing game-style running content where you 'draw, find, and enjoy while running' — including a lucky draw raffle, a random mission zone, and a lucky zone.
In particular, a chameleon-finding mission inspired by the recently popular 'Mecha Chameleon' has been added, bringing extra fun and excitement to the running. Moving beyond running simply for records or finishing times, the event lets anyone — family, friends, couples — run together, complete missions, and enjoy the nature of Oncheoncheon Stream and the waterside scenery in the heart of the city.
Besides running, the event offers a variety of attractions including a cheerleading performance, a Running Fashion King Contest, running coaching, recreational games, a flea market, a message wall photo zone, and a Run Busan photo exhibition, combining running, play, and culture into one event.
Why go
Run Busan's Lucky Draw Run turns an ordinary 5km route into a playful group activity, with capsule-drawing missions every kilometre, a lucky draw raffle, a random mission zone, and a chameleon-finding challenge, all along the Oncheoncheon Stream in central Busan. It suits mixed groups of all ages rather than serious racers, with sideshows like a cheerleading performance, a running fashion contest, and a flea market.
Getting there from Seoul
Take the KTX from Seoul Station to Busan Station (roughly 2.5-3 hours), then connect via Busan Metro Line 1 toward the Oncheonjang/Dongnae-gu area near Myeongnyun-dong, where the park is located. An express bus from Seoul's Gyeongbu terminals to Busan's Nopo-dong or Sasang terminals is a slower alternative, with a subway or taxi transfer onward to Oncheoncheon.
Tips
- This is a mission-based fun run, not a timed race, so comfortable shoes and a relaxed pace matter more than speed.
- Exact hours, fees, and the organiser's registration process aren't published here, so check Run Busan's own channels before travelling.
- Dongnae-gu is known for its hot springs, so a soak nearby pairs well with the run afterward.
Best for: families, casual runners, photographers, couples and friends.
