The Jeonju Hanok Village Traditional Performance Parade is packed with various street performances, allowing visitors to experience Jeonju's folk culture on the streets. During the parade, visitors can witness Jeonju gijeopnori, a representative traditional performance of Jeonju; madangnori, a traditional performance featuring dance, music, and storytelling through various forms, or sing along to folk labor songs.

Getting there from Seoul
Take the KTX from Yongsan or Seoul Station to Jeonju Station (roughly 1.5-2 hours), then a taxi or local bus to Hanok Village. Alternatively, express buses run from Seoul's Central City/Express Bus Terminal to Jeonju (around 3 hours), also followed by a short taxi or bus ride to the village.
Tips
- Performances run Saturdays only, 14:30-15:30, so plan your visit around that window.
- It's free and outdoors along Taejo-ro between Namcheongyo Bridge and Gyeonggijeon Shrine — arrive a bit early for a good viewing spot.

Details for the 2026 festivals will be updated as they become available.*Imsil N Cheese Festival is held every fall in Imsil, the birthplace of cheese production in Korea, at Imsil Cheese Theme Park and Imsil Cheese Village, which are proud symbols of the region. Visitors are greeted by the aroma of delicious cheese as they wander through the beautiful chrysanthemum flower garden with millions of blooms. The festival features more than 10 main themes and 70 programs centered around cheese, offering a rich and diverse experience.
