Overview
The Jeju Olle Walking Festival is held every November, when Jeju's nature is at its finest. Participants walk the trails for three days while enjoying various cultural and artistic performances, traditional games, village programs, and Jeju cuisine. At times, concerts are held against the backdrop of the sound of waves, while at other times, traditional Jeju performances take place against the backdrop of the festival fields. Visitors can also enjoy food made with local agricultural and marine products that satisfy all five senses. With approximately 10,000 walkers participating annually , the Jeju Olle Trail Walking Festival is establishing itself as a global walking festival, with an increasing number of foreign participants from countries such as China, Taiwan, Japan, the United States, the United Kingdom, and Canada each year.

Getting there from Seoul
Jeju is an island, so there is no direct train from Seoul — take a flight from Gimpo or Incheon International Airport to Jeju International Airport (about an hour in the air). From the airport, use a local bus or taxi to reach the festival area around Jocheon-eup, Jeju-si, where the main venue (Jocheon Mansae Statue) is located.
Tips
- Book flights to Jeju early, as early November is a busy travel period on the island.
- Wear comfortable walking shoes and bring rain gear, since the festival centers on multi-day outdoor trail walking.
- Check the registration fee in advance: 30,000 won general, 25,000 won discounted for those born in 2008 or later.

The 2026 Mokpo Port Festival will take place from October 16 to 18 around Mokpo Port and Samhakdo Island. The festival invites visitors to journey through time and experience the history and culture of Mokpo Port through the Traditional Pasi, which recreates the excitement of a full catch and bustling seafood auctions, and the Modern Pasi, which offers experiences of the shops, streets, and everyday culture of the modern-era docks. Highlights include “Pasi: A Full Catch!”, which recreates the arrival of a stow-net fishing boat, the lively Pasi Auction Show, Retro Dockside Street, and Fish Market Street. These unique Mokpo experiences unfold throughout the festival grounds. Visitors can also enjoy Mokpo’s seasonal seafood, hands-on activities for families and local residents, and a variety of performances. Together, these programs bring the atmosphere of Mokpo’s historic port into the present, offering a memorable way to experience the city’s past and present in one festival.
