Hanseong Baekje Culture Festival
Oct 23 – Oct 25, 2026 · Seoul

Overview
As autumn deepens, Songpa's signature culture and arts festival, the '26th Hanseong Baekje Culture Festival,' will be held over 3 days from October 23 (Fri) to 25 (Sun), 2026, at the 88 Lawn Plaza in Olympic Park. This year's festival theme is 'Brilliant Culture, Deep Resonance, United as One.' It opens with a welcome drone show delivering a warm greeting from Hahahoho, Songpa-gu's representative character, followed by high-quality classical music from the Songpa-gu Municipal Orchestra and The Three Tenors, while sensory band performances and media art fill Songpa's nights with deep resonance. In addition, a variety of experience zones are prepared, including the Hanmaeum Eoul Madang (One-Heart Harmony Square) featuring residents from 27 neighborhoods, the Hanseong Baekje Market overflowing with generous food offerings, and the Hanseong Baekje Kids Cafe. On the festival's final day, a feast of gukak (traditional Korean music), the 'Hanseong Culture Concert,' brings the festival to its grand finale.
Why go
This is Songpa-gu's flagship autumn culture festival, now in its 26th year, held over three days at Olympic Park's 88 Lawn Plaza. The 2026 program mixes a welcome drone show and media art with classical performances from the Songpa-gu Municipal Orchestra and The Three Tenors, plus a traditional gukak concert closing out the final night. Community-run food stalls and neighborhood participation give it a local, non-touristy feel rather than a big commercial event.
Getting there from Seoul
The venue is inside Seoul itself, at Olympic Park in Songpa-gu, so no intercity travel is needed. The easiest route is by subway to Olympic Park Station (Line 5) or Mongchontoseong Station (Line 8), both of which have exits leading into the park; a taxi from central Seoul is also straightforward given the short in-city distance.
Tips
- Go in the evening for the drone show and media art performances, which are the visual highlights.
- Plan for Sunday, October 25 if you want to catch the traditional gukak finale concert.
- Late October evenings outdoors at Olympic Park can be cool, so bring a layer.
