Disability Culture & Arts Festival A+ Festival
Oct 16 – Oct 18, 2026 · Seoul

Overview
The 2026 Disability Culture & Arts Festival A+ Festival is a culture and arts festival where artists with disabilities, artists without disabilities, and citizens all come together and communicate through art. Under the theme 'Brilliantly Shining, Tales of the Star Nation,' it captures the process by which people with their own individuality and talents connect and achieve harmony through art, much as different stars gather to form a single beautiful constellation. The festival aims to spotlight the creative activities and artistic capabilities of artists with disabilities, and to create an environment where everyone, regardless of disability, can enjoy culture and the arts equally, beyond the boundary between disabled and non-disabled. To this end, it features performances across genres such as music, dance, and theater, exhibitions showcasing works by artists with disabilities, and hands-on programs citizens can directly participate in. It also expands artistic exchange through collaborative stages featuring both artists with disabilities and artists without, giving citizens the opportunity to experience diverse artistic expressions and values. Held from October 16 to 18, 2026 at Magok Plaza in Gangseo-gu, Seoul, the festival creates a space for cultural and artistic exchange where people understand each other's differences through art and share the values of diversity and coexistence.

2026 Local Ground Yeonnam
Oct 11, 2026
Local Ground Yeonnam is a local culture festival that unfolds across the alleys and local shops of Yeonnam-dong. It connects Yeonnam-dong's distinctive spaces, shops, and cultural content into a single festival, offering visitors a new experience of walking through and lingering in every corner of its alleys. Going beyond a festival that is simply watched, it is characterized by running a variety of content—including flea markets, busking performances, hands-on programs, and events—so that local shops and visitors can naturally meet and interact. In particular, it aims to create an alley festival in the heart of the city that anyone can enjoy comfortably, by combining Yeonnam-dong's free and sensory atmosphere and the picnic culture formed around Gyeongui Line Forest Park with the festival's content. Through this, it provides visitors with an opportunity to discover new charms of Yeonnam-dong, and creates a touchpoint for local shops that leads to new visits and spending. Through a festival where the area's spaces and people, commercial district and culture come together, it seeks to promote Yeonnam-dong's distinctive local culture and bring new vitality to the alley commercial district.
