Overview

The 17th Dangjin Chrysanthemum Exhibition is an autumn chrysanthemum exhibition where visitors can admire vividly colored chrysanthemums and a variety of chrysanthemum artworks. Chrysanthemums in full bloom brilliantly adorn every corner of the exhibition hall, and chrysanthemum works of various colors and shapes come together to present a beautiful autumn scene. It is an exhibition where visitors can walk along beautifully arranged flower paths amid the subtle fragrance of chrysanthemums, feeling their diverse charm and the deepening mood of autumn. At the exhibition hall, visitors can admire a variety of works made with chrysanthemums, and opportunities to participate directly are also provided through horticulture experience and rural experience programs. In addition, a local agricultural specialty promotion and sales booth is operated, allowing visitors to encounter Dangjin's various agricultural specialty products. It is an event where visitors can admire chrysanthemums, take photos, and create autumn memories together with family, loved ones, and friends — an exhibition where the beauty and fragrance of chrysanthemums can be experienced up close.

Why go

This is the 17th edition of Dangjin's autumn chrysanthemum exhibition, filling an exhibition hall with chrysanthemums in many colors and shapes, plus flower-arrangement artworks and winding flower paths. Visitors can join hands-on horticulture and rural experience programs and browse a booth selling Dangjin's local agricultural specialty products.

Getting there from Seoul

Dangjin is in Chungcheongnam-do; the venue is in Hapdeok-eup. The most practical option is an intercity or express bus from a Seoul terminal (such as Nambu Terminal) to Dangjin or Hapdeok bus terminal, then a short local taxi or bus to the venue in Deokpyeong-ro. Alternatively, take a train toward the Chungcheongnam-do area and transfer to a local bus or taxi for the final stretch, as there is no direct KTX line into Hapdeok-eup itself.

Tips

  • Wear comfortable walking shoes for strolling the flower paths and exhibition hall.
  • Bring a light jacket, as late October to early November can be cool, especially in the evening.
  • Check return bus times in advance, since this is a rural area with less frequent service.

Best for: families, photographers, garden lovers.
