Busan Craft Beer Masters Challenge
Oct 16 – Oct 18, 2026 · Busan

Overview
The Busan Craft Beer Masters Challenge is a downtown craft beer festival that brings together breweries and consumers from across the country to promote Busan's craft beer culture and boost the local economy. Distinctive craft beers from around the country and Busan's representative local breweries gather in one place to showcase a wide variety of beers, giving participants the chance to taste an array of beers and experience the appeal of craft brewing firsthand. The festival's centerpiece program is the 'Masters Challenge Competition,' which determines the best craft beer. Breweries compete on skill and the quality of their beer through scoring by a panel of professional judges and a citizen judging panel, adding tension and excitement to the festival through friendly competition. The festival also features a craft beer market showcasing each brewery's signature beers, along with hands-on experience programs and other content that anyone can enjoy easily. Adding to this are a variety of food and beer pairings, busking and DJ performances, and audience participation events, keeping the festival's energy going from day into night. In the evening especially, a Beer Night blending music and beer offers visitors a space to mingle freely and share in the festival's excitement. More than just a beer-drinking festival, the Busan Craft Beer Masters Challenge is a leading beer culture festival where visitors can experience Busan's craft beer culture anew through the process of tasting, experiencing, competing, and enjoying.
