Why go

This is a one-night fireworks show over Yeosu's harbour, paired with stage performances and entertainment at the Yeosu World Expo Center. It has run since 2016 and is considered Yeosu's signature festival, combining night-sea views with the fireworks display.

Getting there from Seoul

Take the KTX from Seoul (Yongsan or Seoul Station) to Yeosu-EXPO station, a journey of roughly 3 to 3.5 hours; a direct express/intercity bus from Seoul Express Bus Terminal to Yeosu is also available and takes around 4 to 4.5 hours. From Yeosu-EXPO station or the bus terminal, the Expo Center venue is a short taxi or local bus ride away.

Tips

  • The event runs 19:00-21:10 on the single festival day (31 October 2026), so arrive at the Expo Center with time to find a viewing spot before dusk.
  • Entry is free, but a popular harbour-view event like this draws large crowds, so book KTX tickets and any nearby accommodation well in advance.
  • After the show, stay a day or two to try Yeosu's fresh seafood and visit nearby coastal sights, as the organizer notes this is part of the local tourism draw.

Best for: couples, families, photographers, seafood lovers.
