Yeonsu Neungheodae Cultural Festival
Oct 9 – Oct 10, 2026 · Incheon
Overview
The '2026 14th Yeonsu Neungheodae Cultural Festival' carries on the historic spirit of Neungheodae, where ancient Baekje envoys once set sail with a spirit of challenge and pioneering ambition, and shares that spirit today with the residents of Yeonsu-gu in a grand festival of unity. The festival features Yeonsu-gu's signature 'Baekje Envoy Parade' along with a variety of programs in which residents actively take part, and a rich lineup of related events and experience booths—including an awards ceremony commemorating District Residents' Day, celebratory performances by popular entertainers, and fireworks—offer the special enjoyment unique to the Neungheodae Festival. This year in particular, the largest-ever drone light show will fill the night sky with around 2,000 drones. Under the theme 'Neungheodae, Voyage of Light,' the show will reinterpret the history of maritime exchange once carried on through ancient Neungheodae and the meaning of a global voyage toward the world, using cutting-edge media technology to present a spectacular display of light.
