The main programs include a new-variety showcase introducing new varieties of roses, spray chrysanthemums, gerberas, lisianthus, and phalaenopsis orchids; an exhibition of florists' works; one-day classes using flowers; a children's career experience program for florists and horticultural therapists; a children's flower drawing program; and a flower talk concert. The festival also runs the 'Ugly Flowers, Great After All' hands-on program, which makes pressed-flower items using flowers with low commercial value that might otherwise be discarded, along with a stamp tour where visitors explore various spots around the venue and an SNS (social media) participation event. The event is designed so that visitors of all generations can appreciate flowers, experience them firsthand, and engage with floriculture culture.
