The 6th Tteokbokki Festival is Korea's leading tteokbokki-specialized festival, hosted by Buk-gu, Daegu. It will be held for three days from October 23 to 25, 2026, around Daegu iM Bank PARK, and has established itself as a representative autumn festival in Daegu that draws tens of thousands of visitors every year. This festival is a multifaceted cultural festival featuring a food zone with famous tteokbokki restaurants from across the country and various food and beverage vendors, alongside performance, experience, and event programs. The main programs include the Main Stage Performance, Tteokpe Night, Red Flavor Lucky Draw, Wandeok Challenge Mission, a customized inbound tour for Taiwanese tourists, and a post-event short-form video contest. Getting there from Seoul

An express or intercity bus from Seoul's bus terminals to Daegu is also an option for those who prefer not to use the KTX.

The Dalseong Daegu Contemporary Art Festival is a contemporary art festival held around Gangjeongbo, carrying on the spirit of the 'Daegu Contemporary Art Festival,' where young artists in the 1970s challenged the rigidity of the established art world through diverse artistic experiments. Gangjeong, the venue of the Dalseong Daegu Contemporary Art Festival, holds significance as the site of Korea's first collective art event, held during the 3rd Daegu Contemporary Art Festival in 1977, in which about 200 artists—the largest number ever—participated.
