Oct 23 – Oct 25, 2026 · Gyeongsangnam-do

Overview
The 3rd Chudo Island Film Festival is a resident-participatory island film festival held on Chudo, a beautiful island of Tongyeong. The festival is created together by island village residents and artists, offering a special experience of enjoying films under the sound of waves and starlight in the night sky. It is a film festival that screens everything from residency films made by directors who stayed directly on Chudo, to feature and short films themed around 'longing' and 'nature,' shown at an outdoor theater by the night sea and indoors. Besides watching films, a variety of programs unfold, including 'Ibagu Trekking,' where participants walk with residents and listen to stories of the island, 'Seasonal Seafood Table Sunset Dining,' and 'Conversation with the Audience (GV),' where filmmakers and the audience communicate. It is a warm and open film festival that rediscovers the island's unique scenery and sentiment through the medium of film, and where residents, audiences, and filmmakers freely come together.
