Overview
Now in its 24th year, the Donggang International Photo Festival is Korea's leading photography event, created together by photographers from Korea and abroad, Gangwon Province residents, Yeongwol County residents, and photography enthusiasts. It will be held from Friday, July 17 to Sunday, October 11 at the Donggang Photo Museum and other venues throughout Yeongwol County. This year at , visitors can appreciate the works of photographer Im Anna, winner of this year's Donggang Photography Award.
Also, you can see the works of the 19 people selected for the , in which artists from around the world took part online. Besides this, , , , , , , and more make this an annual event eagerly awaited by photographers around the world, with diverse exhibitions taking place throughout the beautiful Yeongwol County area of Gangwon Province.

Jeongseon Arirang Festival

The Jeongseon Arirang Festival is Jeongseon County’s signature cultural tourism festival created to preserve and carry forward the history, cultural value, and traditions of Jeongseon Arirang, one of Korea’s best-known folk songs. Celebrating Arirang, which is inscribed on UNESCO’s Representative List of Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity, the festival brings together performances that blend tradition with contemporary elements, parades, hands-on programs, exhibitions, and various cultural and artistic events for visitors of all ages. The festival is also shaped by the local community, with residents taking on an active role in its planning and operation.
