Overview

A special coffee-themed festival is held in Seongnam-dong, a neighborhood where, after being designated an industrial city district in the past, young people gathered and a culture of literature and romance blossomed around its tea rooms. The Seongnam-dong Coffee Festival is a citizen-participation cultural festival for everyone who loves coffee. Held every autumn, the festival is jointly planned and run by local merchants of Seongnam-dong and coffee industry professionals, offering a rich lineup of programs including hand-drip demonstrations, latte art experiences, a brewing competition, and tasting events for various coffee brands. It also features a coffee performance competition with skilled baristas from across the country, along with experience booths, live performances, and a food market that families can enjoy together, establishing itself as an open festival where people of all ages can take part.
