In addition, experience programs such as communal garaetteok (rice cake) making, jeolpyeon (rice cake) stamping, a stamp tour, a capsule treasure hunt, a golden fields treasure hunt, a traditional games field, and a wooden playground are held, together with performances such as a cotton candy show, a circus challenge, and a stilt-walking clown balloon show. Free tastings of livestock products, the sale and promotion of local agricultural specialties, and the operation of restaurants and food trucks add a variety of sights and food to enjoy at the festival.

The 4th Chilgok Transmedia Festival
Sep 15 – Oct 25, 2026
The 4th Chilgok Transmedia Festival is a cultural arts festival held throughout Waegwan-eup, Chilgok-gun, designed to let visitors experience the area's spaces and cultural resources in new ways by combining them with diverse media content. This year's festival takes as its theme the friendship between the poet Gu Sang and the painter Lee Jung-seop, expanding on the two artists' lives and body of work through literature, art, media, and performance content. In particular, rather than concentrating content in a single venue, the festival is run as a space-migrating festival in which visitors move through everyday spaces throughout Waegwan-eup to experience the programs directly.
