Sanjeonghosu Lake Myeongseonsan Mountain Eulalia Festival
Oct 16 – Oct 18, 2026 · Gyeonggi

Overview
Sanjeonghosu Lake Myeongseonsan Mountain Eulalia Festival is held in the area of Sanjeonghosu Lake. Programs include the opening ceremony with performances from famous artists as well as events, cooking competitions, hands-on programs, exhibitions, sales booth and many more.
Why go
This festival celebrates the eulalia (silver grass) season around Sanjeonghosu Lake, combining lakeside and mountain scenery with an opening ceremony, performances, cooking competitions, hands-on programs, exhibitions, and sales booths. It's a good pick for a scenic autumn outing in Gyeonggi-do away from Seoul's crowds.
Getting there from Seoul
Pocheon has no direct train service, so the usual route from Seoul is an intercity bus to Pocheon Bus Terminal, followed by a local bus or taxi onward to the Sanjeonghosu Lake area, since the venue sits outside the downtown core. Driving is also a straightforward option given the rural address along Sanjeonghosu-ro.

- Hours run 11:00-21:00, but only 11:00-17:00 on Friday, so plan a weekend visit for the full program
- Entry is free, but bring cash or card for activities, food, and sales booths
- Dress warmly for lakeside evenings and wear comfortable shoes for walking between the lake and mountain areas
Best for: nature lovers, photographers, day-trippers.
