Overview

An unexpected encounter with Jeonju folk culture on the streets. This performance is packed with the vibrant dragon-flag performance of Jeonju Gijeop-nori, a symbol of Jeonju, along with plenty of pungmul (traditional percussion) performances. Visitors can fully watch and enjoy humor-filled short madang-nori (outdoor folk plays), the grand dragon-flag Jeonju Gijeop-nori performance, pungmul yeonhui (percussion performance art), and traditional acrobatics. It is also a performance where visitors can learn, on site, 'Mandure Sori,' a Jeonju work song passed down through oral tradition.
