Guro Youth Festival
Oct 17, 2026 · Seoul

Overview
The 11th Guro Youth Festival of 2026 is a youth culture festival held on October 17 (Sat) at the Usin High School playground. This year's festival slogan is 'Take Off from the Everyday, Land in Healing,' capturing the idea of starting from the dreams and passion of young people, encountering diverse experiences and enjoyment, and regaining the vitality of everyday life. It is a participatory festival featuring performances and hands-on programs in which youth directly take part and enjoy themselves. The main programs include youth band, vocal, and dance performances, along with experience booths covering various fields such as career exploration, science, and community education institutions. In particular, the performances prepared by the youth themselves are a stage for showcasing their talent and flair, and this year's invited singers are Ones Stein, VVGirl, and VNX. Alongside this, a variety of other attractions such as food, photo zones, and event booths are available, allowing not only youth but also families and local residents to enjoy the festival together.
Why go
This one-day youth culture festival (its 11th edition) takes place at a high school playground in Guro-gu, Seoul, and centers on performances by young people themselves—band, vocal, and dance acts—alongside invited guest singers Ones Stein, VVGirl, and VNX. Hands-on booths cover career exploration, science, and community education, plus food stalls and photo zones, making it a relaxed, participatory event for youth, families, and local residents alike.
Getting there from Seoul
The festival is held within Seoul itself, at Usin High School in Guro-gu (917 Buil-ro, Gung-dong), so no KTX or intercity bus is needed—it's a straightforward subway or local bus trip from central Seoul. Depending on your starting point, budget roughly 40–60 minutes; a short taxi or local bus ride from the nearest subway station will get you to the school.
Tips
- This is a single-day event (Oct 17 only), so confirm performance set times if you want to catch specific acts.
- Most announcements, performances, and booth signage will be in Korean, so a translation app may help at the hands-on booths.
- Photo zones and food stalls are part of the festival, so bring a bit of cash for small vendors.
Best for: families, youth culture, photographers, local community.
