Gugak Performance Jinyeon

The gugak performance “Jinyeon, The Music of the Royal Banquet” offers a unique opportunity to experience the diversity of traditional Korean arts on a single stage. Set in an intimate venue designed in the style of a traditional Korean house, it allows for close interaction between the audience and performers. The program features a wide range of music performed on traditional instruments, spanning Korean music, K-pop, classical pieces, and world folk songs. As an all-in-one performance, it brings together elements of Korean culture, sound, instruments, and live performance into a single immersive experience.

Jinyeon is a gugak (traditional Korean music) performance staged in an intimate venue built in the style of a traditional Korean house, so the audience sits close to the performers. The venue is already in central Seoul, at 10 Insadong 5-gil, Jongno-gu — an easy subway trip from almost anywhere in the city, with Anguk (Line 3) and Jongno 3-ga (Lines 1, 3, 5) stations both within walking distance of Insadong. Visitors arriving by KTX into Seoul Station or by airport rail (AREX) from Incheon/Gimpo can transfer to the subway and reach Insadong within 20–30 minutes.
