Festival Gwangmyeong

Festival Gwangmyeong is Gwangmyeong's signature festival, filling the city's streets with music, culture, and festive energy. This year's main stage, 'GM Live,' will feature a total of 11 artist lineups. On the 3rd, standout singer-songwriter 10cm will headline the stage, joined by accomplished artists including Daybreak, Jack Kingkong, Asrai, and Asadal. On the 4th, legendary Korean rock artist Kim Jong-seo will lead the way, followed by Romantic Punch, Bulnabangstar Sausage Club, Shin Hyun-hee Band, Cactus, and Ruamel, keeping the festival's energy alive. In addition, a street plaza created by closing off an 8-lane road will host a variety of programs for everyone to enjoy, including Random Play Dance, street karaoke, a bubble show, stilt-walking clowns, and living statue mime performances. There will also be a marble board game and mini-games designed to let visitors fully and enjoyably experience Gwangmyeong's signature attraction, the 'Gwangmyeong 9 Scenic Spots.' Furthermore, a 'Citizens' Parade,' in which Gwangmyeong residents march through the streets themselves, and a 'Citizens' Street Commemorative Event' will take place. Alongside these, the festival will be filled out with diverse programs, including an 'Experience & Market Program' featuring Gwangmyeong's various social economy organizations and civic groups, as well as 'busking performances' in the commercial district put on by Gwangmyeong's youth.
